Spotlight on Julie Gross

Julie Gross is the Assistant Stage Manager for our current production of Arsenic and Old Lace. It’s a busy show so she’ll be on alert backstage for this one.

Julie has worked both on and off stage for Dundas Little Theatre for many years now. Enjoy our brief interview with her about her experiences.

Have you ever seen Arsenic and Old Lace before this production?

I’ve never seen Arsenic and Old Lace!

When is the last time that you performed on the Dundas stage?

I was Edna and ASM for one weekend on An Inspector Calls at DLT in Spring 2023.

What has been your favourite show to work on so far?

My favourite theatre experience was as Poppy in Noises Off at DLT. It was a fantastic, funny play and I learned so much from working with the cast, most of whom are very experienced actors.

What’s the most memorable production you’ve seen recently?

I saw Beauty Queen of Leenane at Theatre Burlington in February 2020 – the performances and set were outstanding.
